Platinum Group Metals Ltd. was formed in 2002 and is focused on the production, development and exploration of platinum and palladium mining assets. The Company’s projects are located in South Africa’s Bushveld Complex, the global hub for PGM mining, smelting and refining. Over sixty percent of the world’s primary platinum production originates in Southern Africa. The Maseve Mine, (formerly known as the WBJV Project 1) is located on the Western Limb of the Bushveld Complex and has been the Company’s flagship asset since initial acquisition in 2004. Maseve was commissioned in 2016 and is currently in ramp-up phase. The Waterberg Project, located on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, was discovered in 2011 in partnership with JOGMEC, a state company of the Japanese Government and is in the Pre-Feasibility stage.
