Frank R. Hallam has over 27 years of experience in the mining, minerals and petroleum industry as an operator, principal, and founder of several NYSE.American, TSX and TSXV corporations. His experience includes both equity and debt financing and the execution of exploration, discovery and development programs in Canada, the USA, Mexico and in six different countries in Eastern and Southern Africa. Significant business partners have included Anglo American Platinum Limited, Barrick Gold Corporation, Newmont Mining Corporation, Industrias Penoles SAB de CV, Fresnillo Plc, JCI Limited and Impala Platinum Limited. He has been directly involved in friendly and hostile M&A transactions and has been involved in more than USD $2.0 billion in public offerings in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

In his role as CFO and Director with TSX listed gold exploration company Tan Range Exploration Corp. (1995 to 2002) he set up and administered exploration offices in Tanzania, Ethiopia and Eritrea.

Mr. Hallam was the original founder of New Millennium Metals Corp., a predecessor company to Platinum Group Metals Ltd. In addition to co-founding Platinum Group Metals Ltd. Mr. Hallam was a co-founder (2003) and former CFO and director until 2014 of MAG Silver Corp. Mr. Hallam was a co-founder (2005) and director of West Timmins Mining Inc. that was purchased by producing company Lake Shore Gold Corp. in 2009 for over CAD $ 400 million after the discovery of the Thunder Creek gold deposit. He served as a director of Lake Shore until the billion-dollar take-over of Lake Shore by Tahoe Resources Inc. in April 2016. Mr. Hallam currently serves as CFO & Corporate Secretary of West Vault Mining Inc.

Mr. Hallam is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant (1993), was formerly an auditor in the public Mining Practice of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University (1990).

DIANA WALTERS , DIRECTOR (CHAIR OF THE BOARD)

Ms. Walters has over 30 years of experience in the natural resources sector, both as an investment banker and in operating roles. She is the former President of Liberty Metals & Mining, LLC and is a director of Atmos Energy Corporation and Trilogy Metals Inc.. Ms. Walters has extensive investment experience with both debt and equity through leadership roles at Credit Suisse, HSBC and other firms. Ms. Walters graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Plan II Liberal Arts and an MA in Energy and Mineral Resources.

TIMOTHY MARLOW , C. ENG, DIRECTOR

Tim Marlow has more than 36 years of mining engineering and mine operating experience in North America, South America, Africa and Asia. He has held roles ranging from project engineer, services and maintenance superintendent, and general manager to Vice President of Operational Excellence for a multi mine group. His mining and project experience spans the world and he has specific African experience in Ghana and Zambia.

Mr. Marlow is a graduate of the Camborne School of Mines and is registered as a C.Eng, Registered Charter Engineer in the UK. He is a member of the Institute of Mining and Metallurgy UK and a Qualified Person as defined by NI-43-101 for mining.

John Anthony Copelyn has been CEO of Hosken Consolidated Investments Limited ("HCI") since 1997 and director of Africa Energy since October 2020. Prior to this, he was a member of the South African parliament and general secretary of the Southern African Clothing and Textile Workers’ Union. Mr. Copelyn is also Chairman of various HCI JSE-listed subsidiaries including Deneb Investments Ltd., eMedia Holdings Ltd., and Southern Sun Limited.

STUART HARSHAW, DIRECTOR

Stuart Harshaw a seasoned professional with a successful career in the global mining industry with Vale SA and Inco Ltd, where, among other things, he was Vice President of Ontario Operations in charge of operating six underground mines, a portfolio of processing and refining facilities in Canada and Asia, as well as marketing and sales of a broad range of concentrates and finished metals worldwide. Mr. Harshaw is Director, President and CEO of Nickel Creek Platinum Corp., and a member of the Board of Directors of Constantine Metal Resources and International Tower Hill Mines. Mr. Harshaw earned a BSc. in Metallurgical Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from Laurentian University.

MPHO MAKWANA , DIRECTOR

Mpho Makwana is an accomplished business leader with diverse experience spanning a period of more than 30 years in executive and C-Suite roles in the public and private sectors. He currently serves as Chairman of Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd., Nedbank Limited and Nedbank Group Ltd.; Chairman of SA Forestry (SAFCOL) Ltd.; Lead Independent Director of Invicta Holdings Limited, Non-Executive Director of BioTherm Energy (BTE Renewables) (Pty) Ltd.; and until March 31, 2022, Chairman of Limpopo Economic Development Agency Ltd. He served his country appointed by the President of the Republic of South Africa as a Trustee of the International Marketing Council (Brand SA) 2003-2006 and Trustee of Brand South Africa SOC, 2016-2019. He continues to contribute to society as a Trustee of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund and Director FLG Modise Pentecost Foundation. Mr. Makwana holds a BAdmin from the University of Zululand and a BAdmin (Hons) from the University of Pretoria, an EDP Certificate from the Kellogg School of Management and a Post Grad Diploma, Retailing Management from the University of Stirling.

GREG BLAIR, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Mr. Blair has been with Platinum Group since 2010 in various roles, most recently as Interim Chief Financial Officer. His main responsibilities include overseeing the Company's global financial reporting obligation and internal and disclosure controls. Prior to working at Platinum Group, Mr. Blair worked at a public accounting firm on public company (mainly mining) audits. Mr. Blair is a Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Accountant) and holds a degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University while also having completed the Canadian Securities Course.

Mr. Begic has served as the Manager of Corporate Development for Platinum Group since 2008 and has been intimately involved in the growth of the company since that time. He has over fifteen years of experience in the mining industry and capital markets and has been involved with the raising of over $400 million for various exploration and development projects globally. His efforts are focused on project generation, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, investor relations and marketing. Mr. Begic graduated from the University of Toronto in 1992 with a B.A. in History and Political Science.

Mr. Mgudlwa has experience in corporate governance, contracting, litigation and general business management. He has practiced as a Senior State Advocate for the High Court of Johannesburg and was admitted as an attorney in 2002.

He holds an LLB degree from the University of Durban Westville and a Post-graduate Diploma in Corporate Law from Rand Afrikaans University (now University of Johannesburg). After 12 years in the legal field, Mr. Mgudlwa ventured into business, holding the position of CEO of Africa Wide Investment Holdings and is a Director of Sarong Investment Holdings, a company with interests in agriculture.
